100,000 visitors for Museum of the Post Office

The Museum of the Post Office in the Community has attracted 100,000 visitors within its first year of opening. That's not bad going for a tiny Museum (65sqm) hidden away inside a terraced house. The first ever permanent gallery for the British Postal Museum & Archive is part of the successfully redesigned Blists Hill Victorian Village in Shropshire, which received recognition earlier in the year by being shortlisted for the Arts Fund Prize 2010. We've created a short film montage of the exhibition here.
